How to choose a facial
You don’t need to know the name of the technique. It’s more useful to start from what you’d like to see in the mirror: more glow, a finer texture, firmer skin, a more even tone or simply some time to rest. That’s why this page is organised by goal, and each goal leads you to the techniques that suit it best.
Three questions will help you find your way:
- What bothers you most right now? Starting with a single priority gives better results than trying to tackle everything at once.
- How much downtime can you manage? Some techniques leave no trace, while others can leave some redness for a day or two. If you have an event coming up, we’ll take it into account.
- Can you commit to a course? Work on texture, surface pigmentation or firmness builds up session by session. A single visit improves how your skin looks, but lasting change comes with a plan.
The consultation: the step that puts everything in order
Before any treatment, Marta Fernández, an advanced aesthetics specialist with more than 15 years’ experience, assesses your skin in the treatment room: skin type and condition, sensitivity, skin phototype, the products you use and any circumstance that would make a technique inadvisable. With that information she suggests what to do, in which order and how often, and also what isn’t worth doing.
If we spot something that isn’t a matter for a beauty salon, such as a lesion a dermatologist should look at, we’ll tell you and won’t carry out the treatment. We’d rather lose a session than do something that isn’t right for you.
What to expect from advanced facials
Narumi’s facials are non-invasive: aesthetic devices (radiofrequency, LED light, diamond microdermabrasion, superficial microneedling with Dermapen) and hands-on techniques such as Kobido. They help improve the look of your skin gradually and naturally. They don’t add volume and they’re no substitute for medical treatment, and results vary from person to person, depending on their skin and consistency.

Frequently asked questions
Which facial should I choose if I've never had one?
Most people start with a deep-cleansing facial: it prepares the skin, lets us get to know it, and you'll already notice a difference in radiance and texture. At the consultation Marta looks at your skin type, your routine and what you'd like to improve, and suggests a simple plan from there. You don't need to arrive knowing which technique you want.
Where can I get a facial in Málaga?
At Narumi, Calle Cristo de la Epidemia, 33, in Málaga's Distrito Centro. We're a few minutes' walk from the historic centre and very close to La Victoria, El Ejido and Olletas. We always work by appointment, which you can book on WhatsApp, by phone or through the form on the website.
How much do facials cost?
Each treatment page shows its price per session and, where available, multi-session courses and facial packages that combine techniques. All prices include VAT and you can also see them together on our prices page. Your final plan is confirmed at the consultation, depending on what your skin needs.
How many sessions will I need to see results?
It depends on the goal and the technique. You'll notice a deep-cleansing or hydrotherapy facial from the first session; work on texture, tone or firmness is usually planned over several spaced-out sessions. Each treatment page gives an approximate number of sessions, and at the consultation we give you a realistic estimate for your skin. Results vary from person to person.
Do you offer fillers, threads or botulinum toxin?
No. These are medical treatments that can only be carried out by healthcare professionals in an authorised facility. At Narumi we work with non-invasive aesthetic devices and hands-on techniques. If what you're looking for is medical aesthetics, we'll tell you clearly and recommend you see a medical professional.
Can I combine different facials?
Yes, and it's often the most effective approach: for example, a deep-cleansing facial before a peel or Dermapen. We have facial packages designed to combine techniques in a logical order. What we don't do is pile on treatments for the sake of it: at the consultation we decide what to combine, in which order and how far apart.
Can I have a facial if I have acne or a mark that has changed?
If you have inflamed acne, active lesions or a mark that is changing in shape, size or colour, your doctor or dermatologist should see it first. In those cases we won't carry out the treatment. Once you have their go-ahead, we can support your skincare with aesthetic techniques suited to your skin.
Are your facials suitable for men?
Yes. Men's skin tends to be oilier, with more visible pores and shaving irritation, and most of our facials adapt very well to those needs. A deep-cleansing facial, hydrotherapy facial or Kobido is a good place to start. The consultation is the same for everyone.
