Radiofrequency Facial (Biolifting) in Málaga
A radiofrequency facial (at Narumi we call it Biolifting) is a non-invasive beauty treatment that gently heats the layers of the skin in a controlled way to improve how firm and smooth it looks. Marta Fernández carries it out at our salon in Málaga city centre, in sessions of around 45 minutes. A typical course is 6 to 10 sessions, weekly or fortnightly, followed by maintenance. It is not a substitute for a surgical facelift.
- Duration
- Around 45 minutes
- Sessions
- A course of roughly 6–10 sessions, then maintenance
- How often
- Every 7–15 days during the course
- How it feels
- A gradual, pleasant warmth, like a hot-stone massage; we adjust it if it's uncomfortable
What you can (and can't) expect
What it helps with
- The look of firmness along the jawline, cheeks and neck
- Skin texture and smoothness
- The appearance of fine expression lines
- Radiance and a feeling of tighter, more compact skin
What it doesn't do
- It doesn't lift sagging tissue the way a surgical facelift does
- It doesn't fill deep folds or add volume (that's a medical treatment)
- It doesn't erase pigmentation, pronounced scars or deep static wrinkles
- It doesn't slim the face or reduce a double chin
Is it right for you?
Ideal for
- Anyone noticing their skin is less firm and looking for a non-invasive option
- Skin that's starting to lose its bounce and is happy to work at it consistently
- Those who prefer a treatment with no needles, no acids and no downtime
- As maintenance between other facial treatments
When we don't carry it out
- Pacemaker, defibrillator or any other implanted electronic device
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Metal implants or prostheses in the area (plates, screws, threads with metal components)
- Recent fillers or thread lifts: we wait for the time your doctor recommends
- Irritated skin, wounds, sunburn or an active cold sore in the area
- Altered skin sensation, active autoimmune conditions or cancer under treatment, unless your doctor has given the go-ahead
- Fever or an ongoing infection
If you're unsure about your own situation, check with your doctor first. We'll go through it with you at your initial consultation.
Your session, step by step
-
Assessment
We check for contraindications and talk through the area that concerns you and what you expect, so we can plan a realistic course.
-
Cleansing and preparation
We cleanse your skin and apply a conductive medium so the handpiece glides without friction.
-
Warming phase
We work over the face and neck in continuous movements, raising the warmth gradually and asking how it feels.
-
Working area by area
We focus on the jawline, cheeks, eye area and neck according to your assessment, always keeping the handpiece moving to spread the warmth.
-
Finishing
We remove the product and apply soothing skincare and sunscreen.
How a radiofrequency facial works
Cosmetic radiofrequency uses a high-frequency current that turns into warmth as it passes through the skin. That warmth reaches the layers beneath the surface without damaging it, because the handpiece is kept constantly moving and the temperature rises gradually. The idea is to keep the skin comfortably warm for long enough for that warmth to support its natural firming response.
Don’t expect an overnight change. Radiofrequency is more like exercise than a procedure: it works cumulatively. That’s why it’s booked as a course, and why the initial assessment matters so much. Skin in its thirties that’s just starting to lose its bounce responds differently from marked sagging with excess skin, where beauty treatments have clear limits.
What it can and can’t do
With a well-planned course, you can expect smoother skin with better texture and a firmer look along the jawline, cheeks and neck. What cosmetic radiofrequency doesn’t do is lift sagging tissue, fill folds or change the shape of the face. If that’s what you’re after, the honest answer lies in medical aesthetics or surgery, and we’ll tell you so at your assessment.
It isn’t for everyone, either: we don’t carry it out if you have a pacemaker, are pregnant or have metal implants in the area. You’ll find the full list of cases further up this page.
Biolifting at Narumi
At Narumi, our radiofrequency facial is called Biolifting. Marta works area by area and adjusts the intensity in every session, asking how the warmth feels rather than following a fixed protocol. You can book it as a single session, as a package or as part of the Silk Skin Ritual, which pairs it with a Kobido massage and pressotherapy for a long session of care and rest.
If you’re torn between radiofrequency and the Bellaction Duo facial, the practical difference is this: radiofrequency is a session built around warmth and consistency, while Bellaction is a more complete session with several stages and a cold finish that leaves the face with a tightening effect.

What our clients say
Frequently asked questions
Where can I get a radiofrequency facial in Malaga?
At Narumi Estética Avanzada & Bienestar, Calle Cristo de la Epidemia 33, next to El Ejido and a short stroll from the historic centre. We're a beauty salon, not a clinic: we offer radiofrequency as a non-invasive beauty treatment, after an assessment with Marta Fernández. Book on WhatsApp or by phone on +34 611 500 328.
How much does a radiofrequency facial cost?
You'll find the price per session and the 5- and 10-session packages in the price table on this page. As the treatment works as a course, a package usually works out better value. It's also part of the Silk Skin Ritual (Ritual Piel de Seda), which combines it with Kobido and pressotherapy.
How many radiofrequency sessions will I need?
A typical course is 6 to 10 sessions, every 7 to 15 days, followed by maintenance every so often. After the first few sessions many people notice smoother skin; changes in how firm the skin looks are gradual and vary with each person, their age and their starting point.
Does a radiofrequency facial hurt?
You'll usually feel a gradual warmth, similar to a hot-stone massage. Over bony areas such as the jaw or forehead it can feel more intense, which is why we check in with you throughout and adjust the temperature. It should never burn: if it's uncomfortable, we turn it down.
Is radiofrequency the same as HIFU or a facelift?
No. A facelift is surgery, and HIFU focuses ultrasound at a deeper level and is usually carried out in medical settings. Cosmetic radiofrequency works with more superficial, evenly spread warmth, over several sessions and with no downtime. It's a gentler option with subtler results.
Does radiofrequency boost collagen?
Controlled warmth can support the skin's natural response, which is why it's used to improve the look of firmness. We can't promise how much collagen will form or how quickly: that depends on each person. What you will see, with consistency, is how your skin changes from one session to the next.
What is Biolifting?
It's the name Narumi gives its radiofrequency facial. It isn't a different technique or a device brand: it's our radiofrequency session for the face and neck, with its own preparation and finishing steps.
Can I have radiofrequency if I've had hyaluronic acid fillers or threads?
With recent fillers or threads, we prefer to wait for the time recommended by the doctor who carried them out. If it's been a while, mention it at your assessment. We don't perform radiofrequency over threads or implants with metal components in the area.
When will I see results?
Straight after a session your skin usually looks smoother and brighter, partly thanks to the warmth and hydration. The look of firmness is assessed over the whole course. We suggest taking a photo in the same light before you start and another at the end: it's the most honest way to compare.
Can I combine it with other facials?
Yes. It pairs well with Kobido, which it's combined with in the Silk Skin Ritual, and with eye contour care. Treatments that irritate the surface, such as a chemical peel or Dermapen, are spaced out so they don't fall on the same day.
