Eyebrow micropigmentation in Málaga
Eyebrow micropigmentation is a semi-permanent technique that deposits pigment in the superficial layer of the skin with a micropigmentation device (dermograph) to fill in, define and balance the brows. At Narumi, in Málaga city centre, it always starts with a personalised design drawn to suit your features, and the technique, a hair-stroke effect or soft shading, is decided at your assessment. It includes a touch-up session. The result fades progressively and how long it lasts varies with your skin and aftercare.

Your session, step by step
-
Assessment and client record
We go over your skin type and expectations, and explain in detail the process, aftercare and a realistic result in your case. Together we decide which technique suits you best: a hair-stroke effect or soft shading. You sign the informed consent form.
-
Personalised brow design
We measure your face and draw your brows to suit your facial structure, eye shape and natural expression. You see them drawn on and we adjust them together until you're happy.
-
Choosing the pigment
We choose the shade to suit your hair, your natural brow hair and your skin's undertone, so the pigment heals to a harmonious colour.
-
Micropigmentation
Using a micropigmentation device with single-use needles, the pigment is placed in the superficial layer of the skin, following the design and the effect chosen for you.
-
Aftercare and touch-up
We explain your at-home aftercare and book your touch-up session once the skin has healed and we can see how the pigment has settled.
The design is half the result
Brows that are well pigmented but badly designed won’t flatter you. That’s why eyebrow micropigmentation at Narumi starts with a pencil, not a device. We study the structure of your face, the distance between your eyes, the height of your eyelids and your usual expression, and mark where each brow should start, arch and end. The aim isn’t an on-trend brow but one that will still suit you in a few years’ time.
We look at the brows as part of the whole face, just as we would for bridal or event makeup: thickness, arch and density are decided while also looking at your eyes and features.
A technique adapted to each person
Micropigmentation is done with a micropigmentation device (dermograph) that deposits pigment in the superficial layer of the skin. Not everyone needs the same thing, so the effect is decided at your assessment:
- Hair-stroke effect, for brows that need definition or filling in specific areas.
- Soft shading, for a fuller, more filled-in look.
Choosing the pigment matters just as much. Pigment doesn’t look the same in the bottle as it does in the skin, and over time it fades. We choose the shade by considering your hair colour, your brow hair and your skin’s undertone, so it heals to a natural, harmonious colour.
What to expect while it heals
How brows change in the first few weeks surprises almost everyone, so it’s worth knowing what’s coming:
- First few days. Your brows look darker and thicker than they will end up. This is normal.
- During healing. The skin flakes in fine scales and the colour seems to disappear in places. This is the time to leave them alone.
- Once healed. The pigment “reappears” as the skin finishes renewing, and you can see the true shade.
- Touch-up. Any lighter areas are evened out and the intensity is adjusted.
The result is semi-permanent: it fades progressively, and how long it lasts depends on your skin, sun exposure and aftercare.
Hygiene and safety
We use single-use materials for every client and follow a strict hygiene protocol in the treatment room. The salon is authorised to carry out micropigmentation and our professionals are trained in it. Before we start, you sign an informed consent form. If you have any questions about your case, call us or message us on WhatsApp and we’ll explain.
After your session
Aftercare
- Keep the area clean and follow the written aftercare instructions we give you to the letter
- Don't scratch or pick at scabs or flaking skin
- Avoid direct sun, the beach, swimming pools, saunas and heavy sweating for at least two weeks
- Don't apply makeup, creams with acids or retinol to your brows until the skin has healed
- Once healed, protect your brows from the sun: it's what makes pigment fade fastest
- Come to your touch-up even if your brows look fine: it's part of the treatment
It's normal to notice
- Redness and slight swelling for the first few hours
- A darker, more intense colour for the first few days, which lightens as it heals
- Fine flaking and some itching while the skin heals
- Areas where the pigment looks lighter after healing, which are evened out at the touch-up

What our clients say
Frequently asked questions
Where can I get eyebrow micropigmentation in Málaga?
At Narumi Estética Avanzada & Bienestar, Calle Cristo de la Epidemia 33, in Málaga's Distrito Centro, a few minutes' walk from the historic centre and next to El Ejido and La Victoria. The salon holds the authorisation required for micropigmentation, and our professionals are trained in the technique. Book your assessment via WhatsApp, phone or our contact form.
How much does eyebrow micropigmentation cost?
The prices for the treatment and the touch-up are in the price table on this page; if they show as "Ask us", it's because they depend on the assessment of your brows. Send us a photo of your brows without makeup on WhatsApp and we'll advise you. Before we start, you'll know exactly what's included.
How long does eyebrow micropigmentation last?
It's semi-permanent: the pigment fades progressively over time. How long it lasts varies from person to person, depending on your skin, sun exposure, whether you use acids or retinol on your face and how well you follow the aftercare. When the brows lose definition, a maintenance touch-up can be planned.
Why do I need a touch-up?
Because every skin holds pigment differently and, as it heals, some areas end up lighter than others. The touch-up, once the skin has healed, evens out those areas, adjusts the intensity and refines small details of the design. It's part of the treatment, not an optional extra.
Does eyebrow micropigmentation hurt?
You'll feel mild discomfort, similar to light scratching on the skin. We apply a topical numbing product before and during the treatment to make it more comfortable. Sensitivity varies a lot from person to person and is usually higher in the days before your period, so it's worth bearing in mind when you book.
How many sessions will I need?
We work with protocols personalised for each client. The treatment includes the main session, in which the brow is designed and pigmented, and a touch-up session once the skin has healed. After that, if and when you need maintenance depends on how the pigment fades in your skin; we'll advise you at each visit.
Can I see how it will look beforehand?
Yes. Before touching your skin, we draw your brows in pencil according to the proportions of your face and adjust them with you until you're happy. You also choose the pigment shade together. We don't start until you love the design.
Hair-stroke effect or shading: which is right for me?
It depends on your natural brows and the look you want. A hair-stroke effect suits brows that need definition in specific areas; soft shading gives a fuller, more filled-in look. We decide together at your assessment.
Is eyebrow micropigmentation right for me?
It's designed for anyone with sparse, fair or uneven brows who wants a natural, defined look without filling them in every day. Every case is different, so if you have any questions about yours, call us on +34 611 500 328 or message us on WhatsApp and we'll explain everything.
Is micropigmentation the same as microblading?
No, although both are semi-permanent. Microblading draws the strokes by hand with a manual blade; micropigmentation uses a device (dermograph) that deposits the pigment with needles, which allows both hair-stroke and shaded effects. At Narumi we do eyebrow micropigmentation.
What if I already have old brow micropigmentation?
It depends on its condition. If it has faded considerably and kept a neutral tone, it can sometimes be worked over. If it's very dark or has turned reddish, grey or bluish, it may not be possible to cover it, and it may need lightening first with other techniques. Come to your assessment without brow makeup.
