Beauty treatments in Málaga city centre for visitors
Visiting Málaga, or just moved here? Narumi is a beauty and aesthetics centre a short walk from the historic centre, where you can book a facial, a Japanese Kobido facial massage, a relaxing massage or a spa ritual, even on a short stay. Booking is easy on WhatsApp.
A calm break from sightseeing
Málaga is a wonderful city to explore on foot, and after a few days of museums, tapas and sunshine, an hour of calm can be the best part of the trip. Narumi Estética Avanzada & Bienestar is a beauty and aesthetics centre in Málaga’s Distrito Centro, a short walk from the historic centre. It’s run by Marta Fernández, an advanced aesthetics specialist with more than 15 years’ experience.
We’re not a hotel spa and we’re not a clinic. We’re a neighbourhood salon with three quiet treatment rooms, one of them with a Japanese mural of Mount Fuji, a pagoda and cherry blossom, where you’ll be looked after by the same person from start to finish.
What you can book on a short stay
If you’re only in town for a few days, choose treatments you can enjoy in a single visit, with no downtime to spoil your plans:
- Kobido Japanese facial massage. About 45 minutes of rhythmic, enveloping hands-on work on the face. Deeply relaxing, and you can head straight back out afterwards.
- Deep-cleansing facial or hydrotherapy facial. Ideal if the sun, sea air and travel have left your skin looking dull or congested.
- Massage. Relaxing or deep-tissue, in 30 or 60 minutes, perfect after long days on your feet.
- Spa rituals. Beauty Day, Ritual Piel de Seda and Ritual Narumi combine a facial, Kobido, pressotherapy or massage in one visit: the closest thing to a full pamper afternoon.
- Pressotherapy. A 30-minute session for legs that feel heavy after a flight or a day’s walking.
- Lash lift. Book it early in your stay: lashes need to stay dry for 24–48 hours.
Some treatments are better left for when you’re staying longer. Chemical peels and Dermapen call for careful sun protection afterwards, which isn’t easy on a beach holiday, and laser hair removal works over a course of sessions spaced weeks apart.
Just moved to Málaga?
If you’re settling into the city, welcome. Finding a beauty therapist you trust is one of those small things that makes a new place feel like home. Many of our clients live nearby, in the centre, La Victoria, El Ejido, Olletas or Lagunillas. Once you’re here for the long haul, courses that build results gradually make sense: diode laser hair removal with a cooled sapphire tip, Dermapen, radiofrequency or a regular facial. Everything starts with a consultation, where Marta looks at your skin, asks about your health and suggests a realistic plan. You can browse all our treatments and prices, which include VAT.
How to book on WhatsApp
We work by appointment only, and WhatsApp is the easiest way to book from abroad or from your hotel:
- Send a message to +34 611 500 328, in English if you prefer.
- Tell us the dates you’re in Málaga, which treatment you’re interested in and roughly what time of day suits you.
- We’ll reply with available slots and confirm your appointment in writing.
You can also use the contact form. If you need to cancel or change your appointment, please let us know as early as possible so we can offer the slot to someone else.
What to expect, honestly
- Appointments are in Spanish. Marta works in Spanish, but you can message us in English and we’ll do our best to help. A translation app works well for the basic questions at the start.
- We’re a beauty salon, not a medical clinic. We don’t offer injectables, fillers or any medical treatment. If you’re looking for medical aesthetics, we’ll tell you so.
- A few health questions first. Before any treatment we ask about pregnancy, medication, allergies and skin concerns, because some techniques aren’t suitable in certain circumstances.
- Come a few minutes early, ideally without makeup if you’re having a facial, and in comfortable clothes.
Find directions on our salon page, or read our frequently asked questions. If you’d like to treat someone who lives here, our gift vouchers are valid for 3 months.
Frequently asked questions
Can I book a beauty treatment in Málaga for just one visit?
Yes. Many of our treatments are enjoyable as a one-off: Kobido, a deep-cleansing facial, a hydrotherapy facial, a relaxing massage, a lash lift or one of our spa rituals. Send us a WhatsApp with the dates you're in Málaga and what you fancy, and we'll suggest a day and time that fits around your plans.
Do you speak English at the salon?
Appointments at the salon are carried out in Spanish. You're very welcome to message us on WhatsApp in English beforehand; we'll do our best to help and agree everything in writing. If you're not confident in Spanish, a translation app on your phone or a Spanish-speaking friend can make the visit easier.
How far is Narumi from the historic centre?
We're at Calle Cristo de la Epidemia, 33, in Málaga's Distrito Centro, a short walk from the historic centre, near La Victoria and El Ejido. The easiest way to find us is to search for "Narumi Estética Avanzada & Bienestar" on Google Maps and follow the walking route.
Can I have laser hair removal while I'm on holiday?
Laser hair removal works over a course of sessions spaced several weeks apart, and the treated skin must be protected from the sun, so it isn't a good fit for a short beach holiday. If you've moved to Málaga or spend long periods here, it's a different story: book a consultation and we'll plan a course around the seasons.
Is a lash lift a good idea before the beach or pool?
A lash lift is a lovely holiday treatment, as it saves you mascara for weeks. The only thing to bear in mind is that lashes shouldn't get wet for 24–48 hours afterwards, so it's best booked at the start of your stay with a day or two to spare before you swim.
Can I buy a gift voucher for someone who lives in Málaga?
Yes. Gift vouchers are valid for 3 months and can be used for any treatment or spa ritual. Order one on WhatsApp and we'll explain how you'll receive it and how to pay. The recipient then books their own appointment whenever suits them.
Shall we talk about what you need?
Tell us what you'd like to improve and we'll recommend the option that genuinely makes sense for you, with a no-obligation initial consultation.
